Questions
Before you order
What does virtual mean for a residential appraisal?
Research, analysis and report writing are done remotely. If the assignment needs an inspection, we arrange it in the way the lender or client requires. The scope of work in your order decides that.
Can you sign an appraisal in a state other than MA or SC?
No. Outside Massachusetts and South Carolina we provide support to the appraiser who holds the license and signs the report.
What do you need from an appraiser to start support work?
The subject address, your inspection notes and photos, the form type, and your due date. If you have a preferred comp set or software template, send that as well.
How fast can you turn a report?
Turn time depends on the property, the market and the form. We confirm a date before we begin and tell you early if a deadline is not realistic.
Do you handle commercial or land appraisals?
No. We only appraise residential property.
